(VOICE OF NAIJA)- DStv announces to make this season’s UEFA Champions League final available on Open View following Arsenal F.C.’s first Premier League triumph in 22 years.

The broadcaster said the decision reflects the growing excitement among Nigerian supporters ahead of Arsenal’s showdown with Paris Saint-Germain F.C. in the final.

Mrs Kemi Omotosho, Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, confirmed the initiative during a media briefing on Thursday in Lagos.

She said the Open View window would begin on May 25 for DStv Access subscribers on SuperSport Football Finals and SuperSport Football channels.

Omotosho added that GOtv Plus customers would also enjoy live coverage of the final through SuperSport Football on GOtv Channel 61.

She said subscribers would enjoy classic UEFA Champions League fixtures and memorable matches involving Arsenal and PSG before the final.

According to her, live studio coverage on May 30 will start at 3:30 p.m. before kick-off at 5 p.m.

“Arsenal’s return to the summit of English football has sparked massive excitement among supporters in Nigeria,” Omotosho said.

She added that Nigeria remained one of Arsenal’s biggest fan communities globally, with anticipation rising over a possible European triumph.

“As anticipation builds around a possible European triumph, this is our way of celebrating with customers.

“It also gives more fans the opportunity to be part of what could become another historic night,” she said.

Arsenal secured the Premier League title after Manchester City F.C. failed to defeat AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday.

The triumph ended Arsenal’s 22-year wait for the English league crown and intensified hopes of a memorable European double.

The North London side will now focus on PSG as they seek to complete a remarkable season with UEFA Champions League success.

DStv also announced Open View access for selected Premier League fixtures on Sunday as part of wider celebrations for football supporters.

The matches include Crystal Palace F.C. versus Arsenal, Manchester City against Aston Villa F.C., and Liverpool F.C. against Brentford F.C..

The schedule also features Tottenham Hotspur F.C. against Everton F.C..

Omotosho assured viewers of comprehensive coverage from pre-match analysis to the final whistle and trophy presentation on SuperSport.
