LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian actress Temi Otedola has shared intimate details about how she and her husband, Mr Eazi, found out they were expecting their first child together.
The celebrity couple, who recently announced the pregnancy with elegant maternity photos, revealed that the big moment happened shortly after their wedding celebrations in 2025.
Speaking in an interview with People, Temi explained that they intentionally disappeared from public attention to focus on each other after tying the knot.
Following their court wedding in Monaco, traditional ceremony in Dubai, and church wedding in Iceland, the newlyweds embarked on a two-month honeymoon across South Korea and Japan.

During the trip, the couple also took a break from social media and digital distractions.
It was during that quiet period together that they discovered they were about to become parents.
“We are beyond excited to start our family and welcome a little one to our cocoon of two,” Temi said.

The actress added that both she and her husband felt deeply thankful and excited about entering a new phase of life together.
Rather than making an immediate public announcement, the couple chose a more personal approach.
Temi revealed that they surprised family members and close friends with ultrasound printouts before sharing the news publicly.
In addition, she recalled celebrating her 30th birthday in Mallorca, where she had the opportunity to personally tell many of her closest friends about the pregnancy.

Temi also opened up about the physical challenges she experienced during the early stages of pregnancy.
She revealed that the first trimester came with severe fatigue and constant nausea.
“For the first trimester, I was really feeling the fatigue and morning sickness, well, all day sickness,” she explained.
However, the actress said things gradually improved over time, adding that she now feels healthier, stronger, and more energetic.
Furthermore, Temi admitted that pregnancy has completely changed her lifestyle.

Known for constantly moving between projects and activities, she said carrying a baby has forced her to slow down and reflect more on life.
“I love how pregnancy forces you to slow down,” she said.
Although the couple have decided not to reveal the baby’s gender yet, preparations for their new arrival are already underway.
Temi disclosed that she and Mr Eazi regularly exchange baby name ideas on WhatsApp while also involving their parents in the discussions in line with Nigerian family traditions.
