ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Johnpaul Emechebe has been appointed as a Chief Data Officer Ambassador under the Country Chief Data Officer Ambassador Programme for Nigeria, a global initiative focused on advancing data governance, analytics, and artificial intelligence innovation.
The programme is aligned with the MIT Chief Data Officer & Information Quality Programme in collaboration with isCDO and CDO Magazine USA, and recognises professionals contributing to the growth of data-driven leadership worldwide.
Emechebe, a Business Development and Strategy Executive, was recognised for his experience in leadership, business intelligence, strategic commercial planning, and channel and trade marketing.
He has led several business growth and market expansion initiatives and also completed advanced leadership training programmes across the United Arab Emirates and Europe.

Speaking on the recognition, Emechebe said, “This award is a testament to the power of data-driven leadership. It is about building bridges between vision and execution, and ensuring that Nigeria’s voice is strong in shaping the global digital future.”
As part of the CCDOA network, he will collaborate with Chief Data Officers globally, participate in international engagements including the MIT CDOIQ Symposium, and contribute to national and international data initiatives.
The Country Chief Data Officer Ambassador Programme identifies and honours individuals promoting data-driven decision-making, digital transformation, AI innovation, and analytics excellence across the world.
