LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Popular comedian and social activist MC Okrika has alleged serious threats to his safety following his online exposure of misconduct by officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) under the Cross River Command.
In a viral video making rounds online, the entertainer appealed to the Inspector General of Police, the Cross River State Commissioner of Police, and the state government to urgently step into the matter before the situation gets worse.
MC Okrika revealed that the problem started after he allegedly recorded some policemen smoking Indian hemp and shared the footage on social media.
“As I speak, my life is at risk. My life is totally at risk because I exposed the evil the police dey do. Because I exposed some policemen smoking Indian hemp, I videoed it and posted it online,” he said.

“If anything happens to me, the police force should be held accountable because I know the threats I have received, I know the curses I have received. The police are after my life right now,” the comedian stated.
