ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, for the 13th edition of the Africa CEO Forum, in a move that further underscores Nigeria’s ongoing push to reposition itself as a key investment destination on the continent.
The President landed at the Presidential Wing of the Kigali International Airport on Wednesday, where he was received by senior government officials, including Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, and Rwanda’s Minister of Defence, Juvenal Marizamunda.
Other top Nigerian officials present at the reception included Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Jumoke Oduwole; Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed; and presidential aides and diplomatic representatives.
The Africa CEO Forum, jointly organised by Jeune Afrique Media and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), is widely regarded as Africa’s largest annual gathering of private sector leaders, policymakers, and global investors.
This year’s edition is themed “The Scale Imperative: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership”, with a strong focus on regional integration, investment expansion, and private sector-led growth.

Tinubu is expected to address the forum with a presentation titled “Holding the Line: Nigeria’s Reform Bet in a Fractured World”, where he will highlight his administration’s economic reforms and their impact on investor confidence and macroeconomic stability.
Beyond the keynote address, the President is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with global business leaders and African policymakers, in what analysts view as part of a broader diplomatic and economic engagement strategy.
The visit comes at a time when Nigeria is seeking to strengthen foreign investment inflows and deepen continental economic partnerships amid ongoing domestic reforms and regional competition for capital.
Tinubu is also expected to reaffirm Nigeria’s commitment to African unity, trade expansion, and cross-border investment cooperation during the high-level engagements in Kigali.
