LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala has shared how her husband, Tanzanian music star Juma Jux, faced public speculation about his fertility before they got married and started a family.
Speaking during an interview with media personality Chude Jidenowo, Priscilla explained that many people in Tanzania spread rumors about the singer, saying he might be impotent.
She said they questioned why the “Ikweji” hitmaker did not have a child at the age of 35.

Priscilla revealed that the discussions around Juma Jux’s fertility became more intense because several of his friends had children or baby mamas, while he remained without one.
Despite being linked to several relationships in the past, particularly with Tanzania fashion influencer and travel blogger Karen Bujulu, some critics assumed the worst medically.

“In his country Tanzania, people thought he was impotent because he did not have a child or babymama like his many of his friends and colleagues. They were like, ‘Why he is not having kids like his friends?’ Because obviously, he has been in past relationships,” Priscilla said.
She maintained that her husband is very disciplined and not one to be easily influenced by his circle of friends.
“They were questions but he knew when it was time. He is very disciplined. He knew what he wanted. You can roll with certain people and not be like them,” she added.

Priscilla also disclosed that they continued to face public scrutiny after welcoming their first child in August 2025.
According to her, some critics claimed the baby was born through surrogacy or IVF.
The Mkambala’s who officially tied the knot during a civil wedding ceremony in Tanzania in February 2025, held their traditional and white weddings in Lagos two months later.
They later welcomed their son, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada in August 2025, further strengthening their growing family bond.
