LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Grammy-winning Nigerian music star Burna Boy has reached another global milestone after teaming up with Latin pop superstar Shakira for the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup titled “Dai Dai.”

The Afrobeats sensation collaborated with Colombian music icon Shakira on the tournament’s official song, “Dai Dai,” which will be released on Thursday, May 14.

The achievement also makes Burna Boy the second Nigerian artist to feature on a FIFA World Cup official song in consecutive tournaments.

In 2022, Davido appeared on “Hayya Hayya (Better Together)” alongside Aisha and Trinidad Cardona for the Qatar World Cup.
