LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nollywood was thrown into anxiety on Monday, May 4, after filmmaker Belinda Umeokeke Onyinye posted a troubling message on Instagram that quickly caught the attention of colleagues and fans.
The early morning post caused worry among her followers, especially after she hinted at emotional exhaustion and asked people not to check on her.
Her words, accompanied by tear emojis, suggested she was overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted.
“I am tired. Nobody should ask of me 🥲🥲. I just want to be gone,” she posted.

Shortly after the post surfaced, concern spread rapidly across social media platforms, with many questioning her safety.
Actor Rotimi Salami took action by raising an alarm on his Instagram page. He revealed that efforts to reach her had failed, increasing fears about her condition.
“Does anyone know who lives with @thespian_belinda or lives close to her? She posted this just now and I tried calling her number immediately and it’s switched off. I am worried… plus the last 2posts on her page is suggestive,” he wrote.
