ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Labour Party has pegged the cost of expression of interest and nomination forms for its presidential ticket at N50 million ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The party disclosed this in a press release issued by its National Secretariat on Sunday, where it also unveiled a revised timetable for its electoral activities.

Although full details of the timetable were not immediately made public, the announcement signals the party’s early move to position itself for the 2027 polls.

The development effectively sets the financial threshold for aspirants seeking to contest under the party’s platform, indicating a structured approach to its internal electoral process.

The move comes amid growing political realignments and preparations across parties as stakeholders begin early calculations ahead of the next general elections.
