ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- President Bola Tinubu has departed Nigeria for France, kicking off a three-nation diplomatic tour aimed at strengthening economic ties and boosting foreign investment.
The presidential aircraft took off from the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Sunday, marking the beginning of a trip that will also take the Nigerian leader to Nairobi, Kenya, and Kigali, Rwanda.
According to the presidency, Tinubu will make his first stop in France before proceeding to Nairobi, where he is scheduled to participate in the Africa-France Summit from May 11 to May 12.

The summit, co-chaired by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto, will focus on key issues including energy transition, climate action, digital transformation, and economic partnerships.
Following the summit, the president will travel to Kigali to attend the Africa CEO Forum, slated for May 14 to May 15.
The forum is expected to convene global business leaders and policymakers to discuss investment opportunities and strategies for economic growth across Africa.
The presidency stated that the tour forms part of ongoing efforts by the Nigerian government to deepen international partnerships and attract foreign investment through high-level engagements with global leaders and investors.
