Tinubu To Hosts Delegates From 126 Nations For Global PR Summit In Abuja

ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- President Bola Tinubu has been named Chief Host of the 2026 World Public Relations Forum, holding November 15 to November 21 in Abuja.

Prof Justin Green, the President Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management announced this in a statement by NIPR Director of Public Relations, Stanley Ogadigo.

According to him, Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema will also deliver the keynote address at the forum themed “Responsible Communication, the Voice of the World.”

Green said the commitment of two African presidents proved the continent readiness to deliver the “Biggest, Brightest and Boldest” global PR event.

He also confirmed the attendance of UN Under-Secretary General for Global Communication, Melissa Fleming and the Director of Communication in INTERPOL, Samuel Heath.

Green added that Fleming and Heath would participate at the event as Speakers during the week-long event.

“The theme, Responsible Communication, the Voice of the World, resonates with our long quest for the inclusion of Responsible Communication as the 18th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).

“And we are happy that the Forum in Nigeria from 15th to 21st November will extensively focus on this critical subject”, Green said.

He stated that Global Alliance would offer the needed support to Nigeria to host the Biggest, Brightest and Boldest World Public Relations in November, where over 126 countries will meet for a common purpose Responsible Communication.

The President of NIPR, Dr Ike Neliaku, said that the Institute was working closely with the African Public Relations Association (APRA) and other public relations associations across the continent to ensure that Africa gives to the world something different and the best.
