ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-No fewer than eight ships have berthed at Lekki, Tin-Can and Apapa ports in Lagos, awaiting the discharge of petrol, bulk fertiliser, gasoline and bulk urea.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) disclosed this in its publication – “Shipping Position”, released to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.
According to the report, about 46 ships loaded with petroleum products, food supplies and other items are expected to arrive at Apapa, Lekki and Tin-Can Island ports between April 30 and May 10.

The NPA noted that the incoming vessels are carrying buckwheat, containers, fresh fish, crude oil, bulk wheat, petrol, base oil, aviation fuel, general cargo and various containerised goods.
NAN also reports that 21 additional ships are currently at the ports offloading containers, petrol, bulk gas, aviation fuel, crude oil, bulk gypsum, cargo trucks, bulk wheat, fresh fish, aviation fuel and bulk urea.
