LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Celebrity businessman Okechukwu Pascal, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has stepped deeper into politics, officially announcing his bid for the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The socialite turned political aspirant shared his political intentions during a visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat in Imo State, where he met with party stakeholders and received public backing from the statesmen.
In a video shared online, he stated his desire to represent the Orsu, Orlu, and Oru East Federal Constituency while calling for support from constituents.
“I came to congratulate and encourage our party leaders and also to share my humble desire to represent my people at the House of Representatives. God is in control; let His will be done,” he said.
Following his declaration, Cubana Chief Priest explained that he had formally informed APC leaders about his ambition.

He expressed confidence in God’s will after receiving encouraging responses during the state visit.
Inside the meeting, a party official publicly praised him, describing his influence across different fields.
“I don’t know if you’re a motivational speaker, businessman, or politician; you fit into all,” the official said, adding that the party would support his political journey.
In recent months, Cubana Chief Priest has become more visible in political discussions, frequently showing support for the ruling APC administration.
He was also appointed as the Imo Director of the City Boy Movement, a youth organization founded by Seyi Tinubu to provide backing for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
His latest declaration adds momentum to conversations about many Nigerian celebrities transitioning into elective politics as the country moves closer to the next election cycle.
