ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Cadbury Nigeria Plc has announced the resignation of its director, Mrs Ibukun Awosika, from the company’s board.
The disclosure was made in a notice issued to the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public on Wednesday.
The notice, signed by the Company Secretary, Afolasade Olowe, stated that Awosika’s resignation will take effect from May 1, 2026.
“The Board expresses its deep appreciation to Mrs. Awosika for her valued contribution since his appointment in October 2009,” the statement read.

Cadbury Nigeria also noted that a replacement for the outgoing director will be announced in due course.
Awosika, a notable business leader, previously served as Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Limited and is the founder of The Chair Centre Group. She joined the board of Cadbury Nigeria in 2009 and has served for more than 15 years.
