LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian on-air personality Roby Ekpo has addressed the emotional moment that made him cry publicly, offering a direct apology while opening up about healing and life after his failed marriage.
During a recent appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast, Roby broke down while discussing the end of his marriage to his estranged wife Mayowa Lambe.
The situation drew attention after his former partner relocated to the United States and remarried without his knowledge.
Following the viral moment, Roby took to social media to thank supporters who reached out through messages, emails, and phone calls.
He admitted that sharing his feelings publicly has helped him feel relieved.

The OAP used the opportunity to apologize to all who felt offended by his vulnerability and public display of emotions, saying he loved deeply and had no control over how his body responds to pain.
“Hello people, thank you for all the support and kind words. The DMs, the emails and calls. I love you all. My heart feels lighter and free. For those who my tears offended, I am sorry. Pain leaves the body in many forms. Na love I love. I only know how to love deeply. Na the Roby way be that,” he said.
Moving forward, the media personality emphasized his commitment to personal growth, career focus, and self-care while noting that any remaining issues related to his past relationship are now in the hands of his legal team.
“From this point, it’s my work, my career and my undying passion to be good to myself and be softer with myself. Man must see life, but again man must grow with lessons. I am on a journey! Every other matter is being handled by my lawyers. Thank you and God bless us all,” he added.
