LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian TV host and entrepreneur Chude Jideonwo has shared why he believes getting married at 25 would have been a major mistake.
Speaking during an interview with BBC News Pidgin, he revealed that he almost got married in his mid-twenties but chose to step back before making the final commitment.
The media personality explained that he was still discovering who he truly was at the time.
“I would have regretted marrying at 25,” he said, reflecting on that period of his life.

He maintained that taking such a big step then would have clashed with his personal growth, adding that he was not emotionally ready for the responsibilities that come with marriage.
Rather than rushing into something he was unsure about, he decided to pause and reassess his path.
Jideonwo credited his faith for guiding his decision. He said his relationship with God helped him process his emotions privately and avoid placing his internal struggles on others.

Notably, that early start eventually grew into the influential platforms he leads today, shaping important conversations across Africa.
