LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Following her breakup with media personality Roby Ekpo and remarriage, Mayowa Lambe shares a candid view on love, commitment, and the one boundary she will never compromise.
Shortly after Ekpo’s controversial appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast, where he accused her of leaving despite his sacrifices, Lambe in a now viral video discussed her split and decision to remarry.
Lambe offered a more personal and reflective take on relationships, describing herself as someone who loves deeply, even when warning signs are obvious.
She explained that while falling in love does not come easily to her, she becomes fully invested once it happens.

“It’s either I’m in love or I’m not. For someone like me, falling in love can be hard, but when I do I collapse. My brain shuts down completely. I could even be in it and know that there are things I should walk away from but I’ll still stay inside because I’m in love,” she said.
However, Lambe made it clear that there is one limit she will not tolerate due to her emotional intensity.
She stressed that disrespect is a dealbreaker, explaining that any serious act of disrespect can instantly change how she feels.
According to her, once that line is crossed, she says she completely withdraws without looking back.
Lambe reiterated that when it comes to loving, she’s either fully committed or out of the picture.

“Now disrespect is a big thing for me. The moment you do something so disrespectful to the point where my brain just shifts, it’s like a 360 switch. In that moment, all the love has gone. And it’s not like it’d go and I will still be there. I’ll be completely gone. Cause it’s either I love you or I don’t, there is no middle ground….” she added.
Now remarried and living in the U.S., Lambe appears unbothered and focused on protecting her emotional well-being, while online users remain divided between her and Ekpo’s claims.
