LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian relationship coach Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, widely known as Blessing CEO, has apologized to the public amid backlash over her reported cancer diagnosis, pledging transparency and offering refunds to donors.
Following weeks of intense criticism about her health claims, the social media personality had earlier come under fire after allegedly saying she was battling stage 4 cancer and asking Nigerians for financial help.
In a new video posted on her official Instagram page, Blessing CEO addressed the growing concerns.
While expressing regret over the confusion and public outrage, she insisted that she never lied about her condition.
“Hey guys. My name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO. I want to start by saying I am sorry, very sorry to my loved ones, fans, well-wishers, and to all Nigerians,” she said.

She continued by acknowledging the impact of the situation, adding, “I am sorry for the unnecessary drama, embarrassment, and controversy surrounding my health issues. I want to genuinely apologize, I am sorry.”
However, the relationship expert maintained her stance that her illness is real.
To clear doubts, she promised to release medical evidence, including scan results and biopsy reports, as she documents her health journey publicly.
“Please be patient with me. I did not lie about my health issues. I will start by uploading my scan results officially, down to my biopsy, and carry you all on this journey,” she stated.
Blessing CEO assured supporters that anyone who donated money and feels uncomfortable can request a refund.
She explained that contributors should send proof of payment along with their account details through WhatsApp or direct message to receive their money back.
“Thank you so much for all the love and well wishes. And to the well-meaning Nigerians who want a refund of their contributions, please kindly send us a WhatsApp message or DM, attaching your receipt and account number, and you will get a refund,” she added.
