LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie is celebrating a life-changing moment as she prepares to welcome her first child with her husband, Abasi Ene-Obong.
The actress, who got married in 2022, shared the news on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into her deeply personal journey and long road to motherhood.
In a video accompanying the announcement, Ini appeared radiant in a flowing cream gown, posing gracefully among flowers while embracing the moment.
The visuals captured both joy and calm, reflecting the significance of the milestone.
In her message, she expressed deep gratitude to God, describing the pregnancy as a story of “perfect timing” and a miracle after years of waiting.
She wrote, “There are moments when words feel too small for what God has done. This is one of those moments. In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell. A story of grace. Of love. Of perfect timing. God has been so kind. So faithful. So intentional. And now, my heart is holding a love I have never known before. What a miracle. What a privilege.”
Her announcement comes after a challenging health journey. In 2024, the actress spoke publicly about battling Fibroids, revealing that the condition returned after an earlier surgery.
Rather than undergoing another procedure, she chose a holistic path, hoping her experience would encourage other women facing similar struggles.
Beyond the medical journey, Ini referenced the Book of Jeremiah in the Bible, which speaks of God knowing His creation even before they are formed in the womb.
The actress said she feels deeply joyful witnessing the fulfillment of His plans for her.

She also shared her excitement about the changes in her body and the way her heart continues to grow, expressing gratitude to God for trusting her with the gift she now carries.
She wrote, “What a calling. ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.’ — Jeremiah 1:5. Every day, I am in awe. Every day, I whisper thank you. My body is changing, my heart is expanding, and my life will never be the same again. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank You Jesus, for trusting me with this gift.”
