LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate, has dismissed fresh allegations linking him and his company to a $350 million Paris Club refund.
He insisted that multiple investigations by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) found no wrongdoing, describing the reports as false and misleading.
The clarification was issued in a statement released on Friday in Abuja by his media team, following what he described as a “willful and malicious” publication by an online platform, alleging renewed controversy around the long-standing Paris Club refund matter.
Nwoko stated that the report, unsupported by official findings misrepresented established facts and ignored conclusions reached by multiple investigative bodies.
According to him, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has conducted four separate investigations into the matter, including a recent review under the current administration, all of which reached the same conclusion that the contractual work in question was properly executed.
He further dismissed allegations suggesting any improper collaboration with the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, describing them as unfounded and malicious.

“These narratives are being actively circulated by individuals including one George Uboh and Omoyele Sowore, whom I believed are driving a sustained misinformation campaign for personal or political purposes,” he said.
The senator who serves under the All Progressives Congress (APC), also confirmed that legal action has been initiated against what he called defamatory publications involving the individuals and their affiliated platforms.
“I therefore urge the public to disregard unverified narratives and rely strictly on official records and established institutional findings. For the avoidance of doubt and for clarity, I state unequivocally that there is no ‘fresh claim’ and that at no time was $350 million paid to me or my company as I remain committed to due process, transparency, and the rule of law,” Nwoko added.
He maintained that the Paris Club refund allegations have been repeatedly examined by relevant authorities, with no evidence of wrongdoing established.
The statement concluded with a call for reliance on verified institutional reports, while reaffirming his position that the matter has been conclusively addressed by investigative agencies.
