LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian celebrity businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has reportedly been moved out of a criminal cell at Kuje prison following serious health concerns.
The development comes just two weeks after a Federal High Court in Abuja ordered his remand for 26 days over multiple allegations, including impersonating social media figure VeryDarkMan and forgery. The situation has continued to draw public attention across social media platforms.
Providing an update via Instagram, VeryDarkMan revealed that Blord has been unwell since April 6, 2026. He also shared a WhatsApp message claiming the businessman was transferred from a section of the prison known as “Egypt 2” to a segregation unit due to his condition.

“Egypt 2 na the Ajegunle part of Kuje prison where armed robbers and other criminals stay. They had to move him because he was sick,” the message read.
Meanwhile, the online personality took a swipe at activist Omoyele Sowore, questioning his influence in the matter. Mocking efforts to secure Blord’s release, VeryDarkMan stated, “Sowore and his avengers don’t have power to bring Blord out and discontinue the case like he claimed. We are willing to temper mercy.”
The tension follows earlier criticism from human rights activist. Sowore, who had condemned the speed and manner of Blord’s remand. He also accused VeryDarkMan and his legal team of acting oppressively in the case.
Public reactions continue to build as the legal battle unfolds, with many closely watching how the health concerns may influence the next phase of proceedings.
