LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nollywood actress Scarlet Gomez has sparked reactions after declaring “I married a man, not a boy,” while defending her husband’s calm support for her on-screen kissing roles.
During a recent appearance on Curiosity Made Me Ask with IsbaeU, the actress addressed a much debated topic, how spouses handle romantic scenes in movies. She highlighted trust and maturity in her marriage to Temi Gomez, whom she says has no issue with it.
“My husband doesn’t care about me kissing in movies. I am married to a man, not a boy. He doesn’t have ego and he trusts his wife,” she said.

However, she stressed that mutual understanding is key. According to Gomez, maturity plays a major role in their bond and her husband fully understands the demands of her profession and supports her career without insecurity.

Beyond her marriage, the actress has also been candid about the emotional toll of acting. In an earlier interview, she spoke about her experience on the hit drama series Wura, revealing that the role affected her mental health.
