ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has extended his congratulations to Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, on the occasion of his 69th birthday.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Saturday in Kano by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad.
Yusuf described Dangote as “an illustrious son of Kano and a shining example of determination, vision and hard work.”
He noted that Dangote’s accomplishments have consistently projected Kano and Nigeria onto the global stage.
The governor praised his contributions through investments in manufacturing, refining, agriculture, and other critical sectors, which have enhanced job creation and driven national growth.

He also acknowledged Dangote’s continued philanthropy in healthcare, education, humanitarian services, and community development across Kano State.
Yusuf further described the business magnate as “a dependable development partner” who complements government efforts in advancing socio-economic development.
“As Alhaji Dangote marks his 69th birthday, I pray to Almighty Allah to grant him sound health, renewed strength and greater wisdom,” he said.
He added that Dangote’s legacy of excellence, generosity, and patriotism continues to inspire younger generations.
Yusuf reaffirmed that Kano State remains proud of its distinguished son and will continue to celebrate his contributions.
