LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nollywood star Jim Iyke has stirred reactions online after sharing a strong message about relationships that revolve around money.

In a post shared on his Instagram story, the actor warned men navigating modern relationships. He urged them to be careful about partners who constantly demand money.

Iyke believes such situations should raise red flags, as they’re no longer meaningful relationships, but “prostitution.”

“If it costs you money every time you see her, that’s prostitutiion, not a relationship,” he stated.

Furthermore, Iyke advised men who are focused on building wealth or creating a legacy to be deliberate about the kind of partner they choose. He suggested that such men should either stay single or be with someone supportive.

Unsurprisingly, the post quickly went viral, sparking mixed reactions online. While some people agreed with his perspective, others criticized his choice of words and generalization about relationships.

Meanwhile, the actor has largely kept his personal life away from public scrutiny. In 2023, Jim Iyke revealed that he had been married twice, with both marriages ending unsuccessfully. He also shared that he is a father of three.

At the time, he explained that his private nature and strategic lifestyle allowed him to keep those parts of his life out of the public eye, including his marriages, their breakdown, and his children.
