LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Controversial relationship blogger Blessing CEO, whose real name is Blessing Okoro Nkiruka, is facing serious legal allegations following a new fraud-related petition filed against her to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The complaint, dated April 8, 2026, was reportedly submitted to the anti-graft agency by the family of the alleged owner or her cancer test report, Mbara Deborah, through their lawyers S.M. Anyanwu & Co (Chieze Chambers).

They accused the influencer of fraud, forgery, and cyberbullying linked to a fundraising campaign.

According to the petition, the family claimed that Blessing CEO took advantage of Deborah’s health condition to raise money from the public.

They alleged that more than ₦300 million was collected under false claims.

The document, shared by blogger Stella Dimorkus explained that Deborah, a beauty entrepreneur based in Asaba, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2025 at Xinus Medical Diagnostic. However, the family alleged that the influencer gained access to her medical report and altered it.

They claimed the diagnosis was changed to a more severe stage to attract sympathy.

“The fraudster… used the same [altered report] to defraud innocent Nigerians who had donated well over ₦300 million for fake Stage Four cancer,” the petition reportedly stated.

In addition, the family alleged that the funds raised were paid into private accounts and were not given to the patient for her treatment. Reacting to the situation, the family’s lawyer described the development as deeply painful, noting that Deborah was fighting for her life while her condition was allegedly being used for financial gain.

Meanwhile, the petition also accused Blessing CEO of using her strong social media presence to spread the claims and encourage donations under what the family described as false pretences.

They further alleged that when questions were raised about inconsistencies in the fundraising campaign, the influencer responded with online intimidation.

The petition stated that Deborah and her relatives were subjected to cyberbullying after attempting to clarify the situation.

Now, the family is calling for immediate action by demanding the arrest and prosecution of the Blessing CEO, describing the alleged acts as a “heartless” exploitation of a serious illness.

Authorities have also been urged to investigate the fundraising campaign and trace the funds reportedly collected, while the case continues to draw attention across social media.
