Ogogo Says It’s Unwise To Mediate In Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham Feud

LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, known popularly as Ogogo, has said he will not mediate in the public feud between actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham, describing disputes among women as too complicated to handle.

In a recent interview, he stated that he intentionally avoided mediating between the actresses because fights among women was “worse than Hitler’s war.”

According to Ogogo, it is easier for men to settle their disputes than warring women.

“I don’t interfere in disputes among women. When men have issues, they talk them through and move on, but when it’s between women, it becomes more complicated than war, very difficult for anyone to step into. It is always worse than Hitler’s war, so it is hard for anybody to interfere,” Ogogo said.

The respected actor added that both actresses were blessed by God, and their conflict only made them appear as rivals. He warned that it would be unwise for any man to mediate as there are deeper issues about female rivalry that he might not fully understand.

“If they have sense, they should understand that God has favoured them and they should be joyful… Any man who gets involved is not acting wisely. What is the reason for the fight? What is really the problem when God has already blessed both of them? Is fighting the next step?” he questioned.

The actor also said he expects both actresses to realize their mistakes over time, adding that he is not concerned with the feud. He described both of them as his “children” but made it clear that anyone who chooses not to engage with industry members will be left alone.

“Very soon, they will come back to their senses. It is not even my business. If they choose to be jealous of each other, that’s on them. They are all my children, and anyone who does not want to be part of us, we will avoid,” he added.

Ogogo’s remarks follow a viral clip from Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere showing Funke Akindele publicly ignoring Toyin Abraham’s greeting, intensifying speculation about the actresses strained relationship.
