Dubai Residents Receive Missile Threat Alert

(VOICE OF NAIJA)-Residents in Dubai on Friday received mobile alerts warning them of a potential missile threat and urging them to seek shelter.

The alert advised residents to immediately seek a safe place in the nearest secure building and stay away from windows, doors and open areas.

In a post on social media platform X, the UAE Ministry of Interior said air defence systems were responding to a missile threat and urged the public to remain in safe locations and follow warnings and updates.

Earlier on Friday, the Dubai Media Office said on X that debris from a successful interception during another wave of attacks in the early hours caused minor damage to the facade of a building in central Dubai, with no injuries reported.
