LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian ace producer and music executive Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has opened up about his preferences in a romantic partner, revealing that his ideal woman must be “freaky.”
The founder of Mavin Records made the revelation while speaking on the Is This Seat Taken podcast hosted by actress Chinasa Anukam.
During the conversation, the producer explained that his ideal woman must combine bold intimacy with a calm, gentle personality.
According to the 43-year-old music executive, intimacy and personality rank highest on his list when considering a potential partner.
“My ideal woman for dating in order of importance, first of all, you have to be a freak. I don’t know how I found that out but it is one,” he said.
Beyond chemistry, the hitmaker stressed the importance of emotional calmness in a relationship, explaining that he deliberately avoids confrontational episodes. The producer further revealed that he has a zero-tolerance policy for aggression or dismissive behavior in relationships, adding that he quickly distances himself from such situations.

“Secondly, you have to be soft both body and personality. Because if you shout at me, you are dating yourself. I don’t like stress. I don’t tolerate stress and violence. The moment you try to be nonchalant or violent, you will not see me again. You will just realise that you are dating yourself,” he added.
His candid remarks add another layer to the public’s curiosity about his relationship status. In a previous interview last year, Don Jazzy admitted he remains unmarried partly due to his intense dedication to music, acknowledging a personal struggle with staying faithful to one partner and a determination to avoid repeating the mistakes that led to the end of his first marriage.
The music executive rarely discusses his private life, which made the podcast moment particularly striking for fans who often associate him more with chart-topping artists.
