LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian actress and reality TV personality Beverly Osu, has revealed the financial realities of her career, saying her extensive portfolio across modeling, reality television, and acting should have made her far wealthier than she currently is.
Shedding light on what she describes as a major pay gap in the entertainment industry, the actress revealed that years of dedication to her craft have not translated into the level of wealth she expected.
During a recent appearance on the Chacha’s Couch podcast, the screen star reflected on her long journey through multiple corners of the entertainment world. Despite building a diverse career portfolio, Osu believes the financial returns from her work have fallen far short of what her experience deserves.
According to the actress, the scale of her contributions across different entertainment platforms should have secured her far greater financial success by now. The actress emphasized that while she maintains a humble outlook, she remains confident that her professional body of work justifies that level of recognition.

“I have worked so hard, my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire, not just in Nigeria but in Africa. I am a very humble person, but I know that my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire,” she said.
Over the years, Osu has explored several roles within the entertainment industry. Her career path has taken her from luxury modeling to appearing as a video vixen, competing in reality television, and eventually establishing herself as an actress. However, the performer noted that the financial rewards did not complement the energy and time she has invested in building her career.
Driven by those experiences, Osu said she has become more vocal about advocating for fair compensation for creatives in the industry.
“So, I am fighting for better wages. I have tried different facets of the entertainment industry. From being a luxury model to video vixen to reality TV star and now actor. I have paid my dues,” she said.
