ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- A pro-Tinubu campaign organisation has donated N11 million and 95 bags of rice to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State as part of Ramadan support for party stakeholders.
The group, operating under the Tinubu/Dikko Assured 2027 platform, made the presentation through its Director-General and Founder, Umar Zayyad, who was represented by the Katsina State Coordinator, Khalil Aminu, alongside members of the state steering committee.
The items were formally handed over to the party leadership in the state during the distribution exercise.
According to details of the disbursement, five bags of rice and N500,000 were allocated to each of the 12 wards in Katsina Local Government Area.
Similarly, 15 bags of rice and N2 million were given to the executives of Katsina Local Government, while 20 bags of rice and N3 million were presented to the state executives of the APC.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the Media Secretary in Danja Local Government, Nuradeen Shehu, expressed hope that the donations would support beneficiaries during the holy month.
He also prayed that God would accept the prayers and supplications offered by Muslims during the Ramadan period.
The Nation reports that the group had earlier carried out an empowerment programme across the three senatorial districts of Katsina State, distributing various tools and materials to beneficiaries.
Each beneficiary in the earlier exercise reportedly received N30,000 as part of the empowerment support, according to the report.
