LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nollywood leading man Uzor Arukwe has broken his silence following explosive social media allegations linking him to a supposed marital crisis between reality stars Bambam and Teddy A.
The controversy ignited when an X user claimed that Teddy A filed for divorce after allegedly discovering, via leaked private chats, that his wife was pregnant with Arukwe’s child.
Distancing himself from the scandal, the “Love In Every Word” star has vowed to make a “scapegoat” of those spreading defamatory content for digital engagement.
The timing of these accusations coincides with intense public scrutiny of the couple’s relationship. Speculation of a split reached a fever pitch after eagle-eyed fans noticed the duo had unfollowed each other on Instagram, with Teddy A reportedly scrubbing photos of his wife from his profile.
Despite the noise, Arukwe insists that his relationship with his colleague is strictly professional.
“A specific account has been identified to spread false rumours and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry,” the actor stated in a firm rebuttal.

Legal consequences appear to be the next step for the filmmaker, who refused to directly tag the offending account to avoid boosting its visibility. Arukwe suggested that the anonymous user was merely “chasing clout and Elon Musk money” at the cost of his reputation.
“Believe me when I say this, that individual will be made a scapegoat. Hence, others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout… at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation,” he warned.
Adding to the mystery, Teddy A notably shared solo festive images during the recent holiday season, further fueling the “marital crisis” narrative among his 5.4 million followers. While Bambam and Teddy A have yet to issue a formal joint statement, the inclusion of a third party in the gossip cycle has shifted the conversation from simple relationship woes to potential legal litigation.
