LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has launched a scathing public critique against four prominent Nigerian clerics, accusing them of professional and personal abandonment during her family’s darkest hour.
In a series of raw, vulnerable Instagram posts, the actress revealed that her desperate pleas for financial assistance were ignored while her brother was critically ill, only for the ministers to offer money after his passing.
This development marks a breaking point for the star, who claims she has been pushed to a state of psychological distress following her “unending controversy” with Pastor Chris Okafor.
The transition from private grief to public confrontation saw Ogala specifically naming Apostle Johnson Suleman, Pastor Jeremiah Fufeyin, Pastor Jerry Eze, and Pastor Chris Okafor as the individuals involved. According to the actress, she exhausted her life savings attempting to save her brother, but her cries for help fell on deaf ears until it was too late.
“When my brother was dying, I reached out. I begged and begged because I spent everything I had trying to save him. These people ignored me and my brother died,” she stated, adding that subsequent financial gestures from them were often accompanied by “pleas and insults.”

Ogala stated that internal turmoil has evidently taken a toll on her, confessing that she is “not okay” and is currently battling mounting legal expenses alongside her mourning. She described the loss of her brother as a life-altering event that has robbed her of any future happiness.
“This Doris you are seeing here is not okay. Nothing in this world will make me happy anymore. The death of my brother took a part of me,” she added, hinting that her “time here is limited” and she intends to reveal everything to find a sense of freedom.
Public reaction to her outburst remains deeply divided across social media platforms. While a segment of her followers expressed deep sympathy for her loss and the alleged betrayal by the religious leaders, others have urged the actress to prioritize therapy over public call-outs to manage her mental health.
The situation remains particularly tense due to her prior allegations against Pastor Chris Okafor, whom she previously accused of abandoning her after an eight-year intimate relationship. Future revelations from the actress are expected to dominate industry headlines as she vows to provide further “clarification” on the circumstances surrounding her claims.
