Michael Carrick Set To Return As Man U Caretaker Coach

LAGOS,Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Michael Carrick has accepted all contract proposals and emerged as favourite to be appointed Manchester United caretaker head coach.


According to insiders, the deal with the former Manchester United boss, in temporary position in 2021, will be sealed this week.

The 44-year-old had a three-game stint as United’s temporary boss following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s dismissal in 2021.


He won two and drew one of those matches but left after Ralf Rangnick’s arrival as interim manager.


Carrick is known to have significant backing from within the United squad and the Ineos hierarchy that run football affairs at Old Trafford.
