Breaking: Real Madrid Fire Alonso, Name Replacement

LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Real Madrid has fired Manager Xabi Alonso with immediate effect and named a replacement.

The sack of Alonso was announced by the club on Monday evening following the poor performance in recent times.

On Sunday, they lost to Barcelona in a cup match.

Alvaro Arbeola was named as the new Head Coach of the team.

Arbeola takes over with immediate effect.
