ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- National Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has warned political opponents and critics who underestimate his party to brace for unexpected outcomes at the 2027 general elections.

Kwankwaso said the NNPP remains a formidable political force despite being consistently underrated by rivals who, according to him, misunderstand the realities of Nigerian politics.

The former two-term governor of Kano State spoke on Monday while addressing party supporters at his residence on Miller Road in Kano.

According to him, dismissive attitudes toward the NNPP stem largely from ignorance of the party’s grassroots strength and organisational capacity.

“A lot of people who don’t understand politics are underrating us. Some are even calling us children,” Kwankwaso said.

He added, “We will shock them at the polls with the outcome of the elections.”

Kwankwaso reassured supporters that the party is steadily consolidating its base ahead of 2027, insisting that NNPP is neither distracted nor weakened by external criticism.

He urged party faithful to remain focused, disciplined and committed as preparations for the next electoral cycle gather momentum.

The NNPP leader maintained that electoral success in Nigeria is driven by structure, credibility and connection with the people, rather than noise or elite assumptions.

He said the party’s leadership was confident that its performance in future elections would overturn prevailing narratives and reaffirm NNPP’s relevance in national politics.
