LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Nigerian broadcast industry is in shock following the sudden death of City FM on-air personality Boluwatife Badejo, widely known to listeners as Teefeh, whose vibrant presence had become a weekend staple on the station.
City FM confirmed the loss in a solemn statement shared across its official social media platforms, announcing that the beloved broadcaster had passed away.
The news immediately sparked an outpouring of grief from colleagues, listeners, and industry peers who had come to admire her warmth on and off the airwaves.
Teefeh was best known as the host of City Lounge, which aired every Saturday from 6pm to 10pm, where she connected effortlessly with audiences through music, conversation, and laughter. In addition, she anchored Praise in the City every Sunday from 6am to 12pm, a programme that resonated deeply with faith-based listeners.
