LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has celebrated her father’s doctorate degree from Lagos State University.
She shared the milestone with fans in a lively social media post.
Ademoye documented her journey to her father’s project defense with a behind-the-scenes look filled with humor and unexpected challenges. While getting glammed up for the big day, a sudden power outage disrupted the process, forcing her makeup artist to rely on a phone flashlight when the generator failed to come on.
Moments later, heavy rainfall delayed her departure, and although frustrated, Ademoye maintained her cheerful mood before finally heading out.

Upon arrival at the university, the actress received an enthusiastic welcome from students and fans who chanted her name. She was later escorted by her father to meet some of his lecturers, whom she exchanged warm greetings with.
She also revealed that her father had been quick to correct her whenever she forgot his new title and insists she address him as “Doctor.”
Adding a playful touch, Ademoye joked in her caption that she might be the only filmmaker currently “casting a doctorate degree holder” in her movie.
