LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)– Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has sparked reactions online following the emergence of a leaked audio involving social media personality and aspiring artiste Saida Boj. 

The recording, which has since gone viral, captured a tense negotiation over the cost of a music collaboration.

The audio revealed Saida Boj reaching out to Portable to inquire about his fee for a feature on one of her songs. According to the exchange, the track was meant to appear on her forthcoming EP. 

“This one no be for social media chasing. Na serious matter. This is my song. I’m doing an EP and I need you on it,” she said.

Portable, known for his blunt approach, reportedly quoted a fee of ₦10 million for the collaboration. When Saida Boj admitted she could not afford the amount, the singer slightly reduced his price to ₦8 million while defending his value in the industry.

“My verse can change your life. I’m a big man. You are talking to a star. Before you go far, you will like to feature with someone who has a future,” Portable stated in the audio.

Not one to shy away from a sharp response, Saida Boj pushed back, challenging his claim and standing her ground. 

“Guy, everybody get future. You big for music,” she replied.
