LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-Music icon 2Baba is allegedly facing a fresh legal dispute after a legal firm issued a stern demand notice over an alleged unpaid professional fee of ₦7 million.
The notice, addressed to 2Baba and his wife, Hon. Natasha Idibia, triggered new speculations across social media after Instagram blogger Cutie_julls shared an image of the purported letter.
Dated October 31, 2025, the letter from C.S. Nworgu & Co. claims the couple failed to pay fees owed to its client, C.E. Nwogbo & Associates, for facilitating their tenancy of a five-bedroom semi-detached duplex with a boys’ quarters on Edwin Clerk Crescent, Guzape, Abuja.

According to the firm, the Idibias secured the luxury property for a two-year lease, reportedly paying ₦40 million upfront with an agreement to remit an additional ₦40 million by December 2025.
However, the solicitors allege the celebrities did not follow through on settling the professional charges tied to the transaction.
The letter also states that “a cheque issued in an attempt to settle the payment was returned unpaid.” The firm described the “cheque” development as surprising given that the fee represents “the livelihood of employees who worked on the transaction.”
In the notice, C.S. Nworgu & Co. demands immediate payment of the disputed ₦7 million within seven days, warning that failure to comply will compel them to initiate legal action to recover the amount.
The firm stressed that the correspondence stands as its final request before proceeding to litigation.
