LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian global superstar Wizkid has sparked fresh excitement around his long-teased wedding plans after he revealed that he wants Asake to perform the soulful fan favorite “Remember” at the ceremony.
During a lively appearance on Apple Music Radio with Asake and DJ Tunez, Wizkid opened up about the moment he became a true fan of the YBNL hitmaker. According to him, Asake’s breakout single “Omo Ope” sealed the deal from day one.
“‘Omo Ope’ made me an Asake fan from the first listen. But my favourite Asake song is ‘Remember’. I think you have to play that one on my wedding day. It is an amazing record,” he said.
