LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Comedian Klint Da Drunk has shared the surprising moment that redirected his dreams from music to the comedic stage.
During a chat with Naija FM Lagos, the entertainer recounted how his artistic dreams shifted while he was a student at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Enugu.
According to him, his lifelong plan changed all because of a young 2Face Idibia.
Klint explained that he had been serious about becoming a musician until he watched 2Face perform at a campus event. The impact, he said, was immediate.

“I used to be a musician until 2Face got admitted to my school. He got on stage, and the organisers wanted me to perform after him. I agreed, but after hearing him sing just two lines, I went home,” he recalled.
He admitted he didn’t realise their musical identities were completely different.
“If I had known our styles weren’t alike, maybe I would have continued. But thank God I didn’t. I like where I am,” he added, noting that he has zero regrets about choosing comedy.
Before shifting careers, Klint teamed up with rapper Mr Raw, featuring on the hit track “Obodo” and forming a music group that later finished as runners-up on the 2002 Star Quest talent show, losing narrowly to KC Presh.
Klint’s pivot proved fruitful, setting the stage for a successful comedy career that later extended into Nollywood. His film credits include “Men On The Run,” “Madam 10/10,” “Fast Cash,” and “Lost Kingdom,” marking a steady rise that began with a single unforgettable performance he didn’t even give.
