LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)– Controversial Nigerian singer Portable is shifting gears to the classroom as he announces plans to return to school in pursuit of an academic qualification.
The “Zazuu Zeh” crooner says his decision stems from a desire to better understand the music business and gain respect beyond his fame.
In a viral video, the self-proclaimed Omo Ologo revealed that after sponsoring scholarships and funding his children’s education, he felt it was time to set an example.

“Na who get money na hin dem dey call akada. I get money, I get glory… I wan go school,” Portable said, adding that he doesn’t want his children’s classmates mocking their father for being uneducated.
Portable, who serves as CEO of Zeh Nation, admitted he once enrolled for an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) at Kwara State Polytechnic but dropped out before completing the program.
This time, he insists he’s serious about earning a degree that will help him navigate the legal and financial complexities of the music industry, especially managing streaming royalties and contracts.
For an artist known as much for his viral outbursts as his street hits, Portable’s academic ambition marks an unexpected but refreshing new chapter.
