LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian music mogul Don Jazzy has once again proven his passion for youth empowerment, this time by pledging ₦20 million to support an ambitious digital initiative aimed at equipping 10,000 young Nigerians with laptops.

The project, titled “The Tech Access Project,” was launched by X user Ayilola Ayotomiwa, who described it as a movement to empower young people passionate about technology, design, music production, and digital entrepreneurship.

Ayotomiwa said the goal is to give creative and tech-driven youths the tools they need to “learn, create, and earn from their talents.” He wrote an official open letter to Don Jazzy and then tagged him.

Responding to viral tweets, Don Jazzy praised the idea as “commendable” but noted that providing 10,000 laptops was a massive task that required collective effort.

“Bro I hail o. Your initiative is commendable. But sir, 10,000 laptops is not beans. At this time I can only afford to support with 20 million Naira and a repost. Hopefully, some other well-meaning Nigerians can help achieve the goal,” he wrote.

The Mavin Records boss’s gesture has since gone viral, earning him praise for leading by example in supporting youth-focused initiatives and empowerment. Fans spotlighted the digital inclusion, describing Don Jazzy as a bridge between entertainment, technology, and youth development.
