LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Beauty entrepreneur Diiadem has opened up about a shocking experience she had with popular actress Biola Bayo years ago on a movie set.
The drama unfolded when Biola Bayo recently took to social media to complain about the rising cost of Aso Ebi at Nigerian weddings. Surprisingly, it was Diiadem’s response that quickly stole the spotlight.
The founder of Beauty by AD dropped a jaw-dropping comment that read, “I remember how this lady made me clean her shoes one time. I followed my stepmum to a movie set back then. I wasn’t even an actress, but she made me do it.”
According to Diiadem, the incident occurred around 2009/2010, when she accompanied her stepmother to a film location. At the time, she knew Biola Bayo as Abisola Eyin Oka and was just an aspiring actress trying to find her footing in Nollywood.

Diiadem revealed the encounter left her feeling deeply humiliated but said she has finally found the courage to speak her truth.
“It’s not about what people will say, it’s about letting go of something that’s haunted me for years,” she noted.
Biola Bayo, however, appeared to take the revelation in stride, responding playfully with “Ema ma tun gba mi kee! Ewo tun ni shoe cleaner bayi?” It translates to, “Help me o! How did I get into a shoe cleaner conversation?”
Unmoved by the actress’s reaction, Diiadem later posted a video explaining that her pain stemmed more from the condescending tone used by Biola than the act itself.
She added that memories stayed etched in her mind and the experience still lingers, especially when she watches the actress’s movies.
Ending her post with a message to her followers, Diiadem urged people to “be kind”, emphasizing that one never knows how small actions can leave lasting emotional scars.
