LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – A faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State has cautioned individuals suspended from the party against parading themselves as members of its executive committee.
Factional chairman of the party, Abdulrazak Abubakar, issued the warning during a press conference held on Saturday in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
Abubakar alleged that one Sufiyanu Bala and others, who had earlier been suspended, continued to present themselves as executives of the party despite a subsisting court order.

He also accused one Alhaji Sule Iko of parading himself as ADC chairman under the instruction of Sufiyanu Bala, stressing that both men had been expelled from the party.
According to him, “A High Court sitting in Kebbi State has issued an interim injunction restraining three officials of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) from parading themselves as members of the party’s state executive committee.”
The factional leader reiterated that the ADC in Kebbi would continue to operate within the bounds of the law, adding that only duly recognized officials were authorized to conduct the party’s affairs in the state.
