ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has placed the National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade; the National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu; the Deputy Legal Adviser, Okechukwu Osuoha; and the National Organizing Secretary, Umaru Bature, on a one-month suspension following a court order that stopped the party’s planned national convention.

While briefing journalists, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, said the action was taken after an emergency NWC meeting held on Saturday at the party’s headquarters, Legacy House, in Maitama, Abuja.
