LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- American rapper Nicki Minaj, could be forced to sell her $20 million Hidden Hills mansion after allegedly failing to pay over half a million dollars tied to an assault lawsuit involving her husband, Kenneth Petty.
According to newly surfaced court documents, former security guard Thomas Weidenmüller is pushing for the forced sale of the 11-bedroom, 16-bathroom estate to collect a $503,318 judgment awarded to him after a violent altercation in 2019.

The incident reportedly took place during Minaj’s concert in Germany, where Petty allegedly punched Weidenmüller in the jaw without warning, leading to multiple reconstructive surgeries.
Weidenmüller, who was head of security that night, claims the altercation followed a heated moment when Minaj verbally attacked a female guard for allowing a fan onstage. After confronting Minaj about the outburst, Weidenmüller alleges she hurled a shoe at him before Petty assaulted him backstage.

Despite winning the lawsuit by default, Weidenmüller says Minaj and Petty have refused to pay the court-ordered amount. His legal team now seeks to seize Minaj’s luxury property, which carries a $13.25 million mortgage and $722,000 homestead exemption, leaving roughly $6 million in equity that could easily cover the judgment and enforcement costs.
Court documents argue that Minaj, whose net worth is estimated between $150 million and $190 million, has the means to resolve the debt but has ignored multiple payment demands.
“There is little doubt she is highly capable of paying the judgment in full, yet she has refused to do so,” the filing states.

Weidenmüller called it “regrettable” that he must pursue a forced sale, but says Minaj’s inaction has left him no choice.
With a $20 million mansion now in jeopardy, the legal battle adds another chapter to Minaj’s ongoing controversies, this time with millions, and real estate, on the line.
