LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-What started as a missed call has now escalated into a potential courtroom drama as Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo’s public callout of President Tinubu’s aide, O’tega Ogra, has drawn sharp backlash, with a legal threat now on the table.
Presidential aide O’tega Ogra has issued a stern warning to singer Timi Dakolo, threatening legal action over the musician’s recent social media post accusing him of ignoring calls.

The drama unfolded on X social, where Dakolo publicly called out Ogra for failing to respond to his messages or calls. Although the exact context of the dispute remains unclear, the post quickly gained traction online, prompting a response from the presidential adviser.
In a measured but pointed statement, Ogra described the matter as “institutional” and cautioned Dakolo against turning it into a personal attack.
“I see and have noted the commentary. I will not engage in explication where none is required. My record is public and stands on its merits,” Ogra wrote.
He further warned that any attempt to “personalise a clearly institutional matter” would be met with “formal correction and the appropriate professional and legal redress.”
While fans await a response from Dakolo, Ogra’s threat of legal action has shifted the spotlight from missed calls to potential court filings.
