LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian music star Timi Dakolo has made headlines after publicly calling out a top presidential aide for allegedly refusing to pay him for a completed job.
Taking to his X handle, Dakolo tagged the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Digital Engagement, Strategy, and New Media, O’tega Ogra, urging him to answer his calls.
In a short but pointed tweet, the award-winning singer wrote, “Mr @otegaogra please pick your calls. I did my job.”

The post, which quickly gained attention across social media, suggests that the singer had fulfilled his part of a professional agreement, but was still waiting for compensation.
While Dakolo did not reveal the nature of the job or the amount owed, he’s been calling out debtors for weeks now and his public approach sparked widespread conversation about transparency, and how entertainers are treated even at the highest levels of engagement.
As of the time of reporting, O’tega Ogra has not issued a public response to the allegations, but Timi Dakolo’s bold callout adds to a growing list of entertainers using their platforms to demand fairness.
