ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-The National Youth Service Corps has announced Thursday, November 6, 2025, as the official date for the passing-out ceremony of the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 corps members.

In a statement on Monday signed by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the management approved a low-key event to mark the completion of the service year for the batch, which began its orientation course from October 23 to November 12, 2024.

The statement noted that activities preceding the ceremony would begin with job advisory and counselling sessions for corps members across different local government areas in the country.

It also stated that the process would include the signing and issuance of final clearance letters by Zonal Inspectors to the outgoing corps members.

“The Director General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu wishes all the Corps Members, passing-out including the Monitoring Officers on assignment a successful Winding-up and Passing-out Exercise,” the statement added.

The NYSC 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream One orientation course, which took place from October 23 to November 12, 2024, was simultaneously held across all 37 orientation camps nationwide.

The three-week training exposed corps members to paramilitary drills, leadership development, entrepreneurship training under the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme, and community integration activities.

After the orientation exercise, corps members were deployed to their respective Places of Primary Assignment, where they served in key sectors such as education, health, agriculture, and community development across the country.
